A sweet reader, Chanda, shared this amazing fundraising party with me!  Each year, she hosts a birthday party/fundraiser as a costume party to raise donations for the babies at their local Community Pregnancy Center.  All Chandra's family and friends attend and bring a "birthday gift" for a child in need.

This year, the party was called, "Fairies, Pirates, and Babies."  Kids received wings or pirate swords at the door.  Chandra's husband dressed up as Captain Hook and Chandra was his wench.  They made their tree into Pixie Hollow and the DJ's were Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.  Some high school art students volunteered to do magical face painting.  Guests enjoyed finger foods such as "Goldfish From the Depths of the Sea," "Pirate's Booty Popcorn," and "Fairy Dust Chocolate Covered Pretzels."

Take a look at the beautiful photos.

Thank you so much, Chanda, for sharing this fabulous fundraising party with us!  I'm sure those young moms are very grateful for you and your generosity!

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday today, my wonderful party is a Green Eggs & Ham 1st Birthday Party from Blue-Eyed Bride.  Erin was an event planner before staying home with her baby boy, so naturally, her son's 1st birthday party was A-mazing!  LOTS of adorable details make this party Seusically sensational!

Wednesday Party on Thursday

I'm a little off schedule today, but I wanted to share two parties with you today.  The first is my sweet Husband's birthday dinner last week.  He wanted to go out for dinner, so all I did was provide the dessert.  I made Lemon-Lime cupcakes, with toppers and wrappers to match the cute polka dot dessert plates and napkins I found at Target.

I found this recipe from Lick the Bowl Good, and just made mine into cupcakes instead of a bundt cake. They were oh-so-yummy!

Here's my Super Baker helper, putting the cupcake liners in the pan.  He insisted on wearing his cape over his apron ~ I thought it was too cute!

Here's the Birthday Boy with our Little Sweetie!

The second party for today is a Minnie Mouse 2nd Birthday Party.  My little neighbor, Lyndee turned two yesterday and we celebrated with her family on Monday night.  Her mom, DeeDee, asked me to make the party goods so I created a new MOD MINNIE party collection with the color scheme of purple, pink, and black, and including all the Mickey characters dressed up in their girly outfits!   DeeDee did an excellent job decorating for the party!  We had a great time!

DeeDee framed the Clubhouse Sign for the buffet table & put one on the front door as well.

I was just browsing through some beautiful blogs the other day & stumbled upon this simple, yet stunning party for a sweet 5-year-old girl!  The blog is called Pretties and Posies and you must visit sometime for some amazing photography and just pure prettiness!

The Mom, Melanie, planned this adorable pink and gold Beauty Bar Party for her little girl, Chloe.  There were stations set up for hair, nails, and makeup and it looked like all the girly guests had a fabulous time.  Melanie kept the food simple with PB&J's on whole wheat rounds, strawberries, carrots & dip, and pink animal crackers.  Chole's pink cake was adorned with a sparkly gold star cake bunting!   I'll let the beautiful photos speak for themselves!

Melanie made a playlist for the party that was made into sweet little CD's for the girls to take home.

The girls decorated these cute little bags when they first arrived, that later held all of their beauty treasures to take home!

Hope this party inspires you to have a beautiful day!  :)

Today's featured party is a 5th Birthday Tea Party from Jess at Polka Dots & Pirates.  Jess is so talented & creative, & she is one of the first Party Designers that inspired me to become a Graphic Designer & Party Stylist!  I have loved it ever since!

Anyway, Jess designed a fabulous "Dolly & Me Par-TEA" for her daughter, Avery's 5th birthday!    The inspiration for the party design was a gorgeous Michael Miller fabric with teacups & teapots.  Activities for the girlie guests included jewelry making, coloring, face-painting, & enjoying their tea in special little teacups!  Guests brought their favorite dolly, who was greeted with a party hat, just like the girls got to wear!  Here's a look at some of the pictures from the day!
