Teaching Tuesday {Father's Day Ideas}

I always like to make little gifts from Noah to all the Dads in our lives for Father's Day.  Last year, I made a photo card with a picture of Noah hugging Chip & Dale at Disney World.  The card read, "Uncle Boom, I'm nuts about you!".  Then, we put a mixture of nuts in a mason jar, topped it with cute fabric, and tied on a tag.  All the Dads loved them!

By the way, last night, my friend & I opened a new etsy shop together selling printable invitations & photo cards!  It's called Savvy Chic Designs & this NUTTIN' BUT CUTE photo card is available for purchase HERE.  Check us out!

Then, for Sunday School, I made a cute card template of a tree.  Then, I traced each of the kids' hands onto green construction paper, cut them out, and glued them to the top of the tree.

If you would like to make your own handprint trees for Father's Day, you can download the card template FREE here

Also, I made this Father's Day 3"x3" folded card set last year. You can download your own  3 card set here.
All you have to do to download either of these free Father's Day templates is click "file," and then "download!"

Happy Friday, Peeps!  If you're still in need of more Spring decor, I made one of my favorite Spring quotes into a free download!  The quote is "Earth laughs in flowers," by Ralph Waldo Emerson.  I used my favorite new color for decorating (Martha calls it Enamelware).  I have a 4x6 version and a 5x7 version for the taking!  Hope you enjoy!

I put mine in my cute frame from Ikea on my entry table.

Here it is nestled with the rest of my entry table Springtime goodness!

and the 5x7 print HERE!

Sorry for my lack of posts this week!  My mom has been on Spring Break and we have been staying busy doing fun things with her!  I have not been home AT ALL!!!  But, I have gotten a lot done for Noah's party!  Tomorrow, the countdown is on...TWO WEEKS!!!  Yikes, that makes me stress just thinking about it, but I have promised my husband that I will NOT get so stressed that I don't enjoy the party and maybe make everyone else miserable too because I am a little bit OCD!!!  ;)

So, one thing on my list to do before the party is to get my house Spring-ready!  Here's my inspiration photos all from Stylish Eve.

I started searching late last night for some cute Spring or Easter subway art to begin my decor process.  Here's what I found so far and I'm sure there will be lots more!

Easter Subway Art from I Share Printables

Spring Subway Art from Simple Crafter

Spring/Easter Subway Art from 2Day I Choose
(She offers three color choices) :)

It is a beautiful, warm day here in East Tennessee, and I'm getting ready to take Noah to the park (along with my friend, Bridget (who's also on Spring Break) and her little sweetie, Livia!  2 more days until the official first day of Spring ~ YAY!!!
