A sweet reader, Chanda, shared this amazing fundraising party with me! Each year, she hosts a birthday party/fundraiser as a costume party to raise donations for the babies at their local Community Pregnancy Center. All Chandra's family and friends attend and bring a "birthday gift" for a child in need.
This year, the party was called, "Fairies, Pirates, and Babies." Kids received wings or pirate swords at the door. Chandra's husband dressed up as Captain Hook and Chandra was his wench. They made their tree into Pixie Hollow and the DJ's were Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. Some high school art students volunteered to do magical face painting. Guests enjoyed finger foods such as "Goldfish From the Depths of the Sea," "Pirate's Booty Popcorn," and "Fairy Dust Chocolate Covered Pretzels."
Take a look at the beautiful photos.
Thank you so much, Chanda, for sharing this fabulous fundraising party with us! I'm sure those young moms are very grateful for you and your generosity!
