Tasty Tuesday {Marshmallow Pilgrim Hats}

I came across these adorable Chocolate Marshmallow Pilgrim Hats at Family Fun & had to share them with you!  I plan on making these with my Lil' Turkey for Thanksgiving!  They are super simple, but look so cute!

{INGREDIENTS}:

24 chocolate striped shortbread cookies

12 oz. package of chocolate chips

24 large marshmallows

yellow decorator icing

{DIRECTIONS}:

1. Set the chocolate striped cookies face down on a wax-paper lined tray well spaced apart.

2. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave.

3. One at a time, stick a wooden toothpick into a marshmallow  and dip it into the melted chocolate.  Quickly center it on top of the striped cookie.  

4. Use a second toothpick to lightly hold down the marshmallow, and carefully pull out the first toothpick.

5. Chill the hats until the chocolate sets and use yellow decorator icing to draw buckles on the front of each hat.
