Noah's Play Date

Last week, Noah had a fun play date with his friend, Livia!  She & Noah are only 2 weeks apart and we try to get them together to play every time Livia's Mommy (& my good friend), Bridget has a vacation from school.  She is an awesome 1st grade teacher!

The weather was beautiful, so we started out at the park.  The kiddos ran around, played, and had so much fun!  Then, we took them to eat at a fun little restaurant where they shared spaghetti and pizza & finished it off with ice cream!  As usual, Noah chose the brightest color of ice cream (Superman), so he left with blue everything!  I managed to snap a few pictures of the munchkins playing together before they left.

To see how much these little ones have grown, just look at these past photos (these babies are almost 3 ~ wow)!

Happy Friday, Peeps!  If you're still in need of more Spring decor, I made one of my favorite Spring quotes into a free download!  The quote is "Earth laughs in flowers," by Ralph Waldo Emerson.  I used my favorite new color for decorating (Martha calls it Enamelware).  I have a 4x6 version and a 5x7 version for the taking!  Hope you enjoy!

I put mine in my cute frame from Ikea on my entry table.

Here it is nestled with the rest of my entry table Springtime goodness!

and the 5x7 print HERE!

My sweet customer, Leah, sent me some awesome pictures from her son, Graham's, 1st birthday party!  She purchased the FROGS, SNAILS, & PUPPY DOG TAILS party collection & everything turned out so cute!

Leah decided on the Printed & Mailed option for her party collection.  If you are ever interested in one of my party collections, but not quite sure how to put everything together or don't have a printer at home, this option may be for you.  I print, assemble, & mail everything right to your door!

Thank you so much, Leah for sharing your photos with us!  You did an awesome job with your party! :)

Toddler Tuesday {Superhero Bedroom}

I don't know if you have visited I Am Momma Hear Me Roar lately, but Cheri has been working on an incredible superhero-theme bedroom for her son, Rex, for a while.  The room is now complete & it is SO FUN!  Take a look!

MMM Good, Monday {Sramble Dogs}

As the weather gets warmer, I start to crave hotdogs and hamburgers & anything we can enjoy outside on our deck!  A long time ago, I found a recipe at Lick the Bowl Good that I have wanted to try.  It's called Scramble Dogs and I think it will be easy for my little one to eat!

In Monica's words, here's how to make this yummy dinner!

  • 1 hot dog bun, toasted and chopped
  • 1 all beef wiener, cooked and chopped
  • chili
  • chopped onions
  • mustard
  • 4 dill pickle slices, chopped
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • oyster crackers
Toast a hot dog bun and cook your wiener. Chop both into bite sized pieces and set aside.
Place your chopped and toasted hot dog bun in a bowl. Scatter the wiener on top of the bun and pour chili over it.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese, diced onion, dill pickles slices, and a squirt of mustard. Top scramble dog with a handful of oyster crackers. Dig in!
Serves 1

I'm making this tonight, so I'll tell you how it turns out! :)

Noah's Party Sneak Peek

Noah's party is exactly two weeks from today!!!  Now that all of our family & friends should have received their invitations, I can show you!  The theme was an obvious choice this year...TRAINS!  He loves Thomas, but I didn't want a party centered around a commercial character this year.  So, instead, I designed a red & aqua {with a  slight vintage twist} train party!  I have BIG plans for a cute food table, customized conductor hats, & cookies with edible images that match my designs!

So, here is Noah's invitation...

I bought his aqua tee at Baby Gap, and found the cute jeans with red accents on a last-minute trip to Walmart!  We took Noah to his favorite park that has a railroad track right next to it.  He was more than ecstatic to get to walk on the tracks!  On the way, we stopped to get a bunch of red and aqua balloons that we tied onto his arm.  I used my new 50 mm lens for my camera to take the pictures and I LOVE how they turned out!

Here's a few more fave pics from the day!...I plan on framing some of these for the party!

Happy Saturday, friends!
