MmM Good, Monday {Resurrection Bread}

I saw this recipe/activity to do with your kiddos a long time ago and knew I wanted to do it with Noah this Easter.  We have been trying to explain to him the REAL meaning of Easter and he's starting to understand.  So, I found this recipe to make Resurrection Bread at From Glitter to Gumdrops, and wanted to share it with you.

{Here's what you need to make the bread}...
The marshmallow represents Jesus and the crescent roll represents the cloth the soldiers wrapped Him in after His death on the cross.  The oven represents the tomb.  After the rolls cook, open the roll, and show the child that the marshmallow (Jesus) isn't there because He is risen!  Awesome!

{Here's what to do}...
  1. Preheat your oven o 375 degrees.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Melt butter in another bowl.
  4. Roll marshmallow in melted butter & coat with the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
  5. Completely wrap the marshmallow in the crescent rolls.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
I'll be sure to take pictures when we do this activity this week to let you know how it goes!
