Toddler Tuesday {Vintage Barbie Toddler Room}

This is the most glamorous room I have ever seen for a toddler/young girl!  It was created by Kimberlee Johnson for her daughter & I saw it at Design Dazzle (my fave decor blog)!  The colors of hot pink, black, & white sprinkled with images of Barbie & French accents is divine!

{Some tips & money-saving tricks from Kimberlee}
1. bed headboard: upside down shelf from Hobby Lobby
2. bedside lamp: lamp from Target with a ribbon & rhinestone broach hot glued on
3. framed initials: initial decals from etsy in inexpensive frames
4. bedding: from Pottery Barn Kids on ebay
5. bookshelf: antique mantle with added shelves
6. storage boxes: inexpensive baskets with ribbon & rhinestones hot glued on
7. flower containers: Dollar Store buckets with added embellishments
8. vanity stool: yard sale chair spray-painted with handmade cushions & embellishments

Just goes to show, beautiful design doesn't have to break the bank!  Lovely room for a little girl!

This is so beautiful and elegant! It's exactly what I am looking for! I am giving my daughters room a make over. Every time I looked up pink and black rooms for ideas, I found mostly pink and black zebra print. Thank god I have more options! And thank you so much for being the inspiration and showing me this beautiful classy room I can use for guide lines. You truly have talent.
