11 Years!

On this day, 11 years ago, I married my best friend, my soul mate, and the sweetest man in the world!  It was a perfect day & my dream come true!  In the midst of all this blog re-designing, I missed Wedding Wednesday this week...so, I thought I would share mine today!


Now, I apologize up front for the condition of the pictures.  When we got married, the pictures were not taken digitally, so all I have now are the ones I have scanned in.  But, they are still precious to me!

We were married in the little country church I grew up in, the same church where my parents were married, so it was so special to me!  My color was lavender and my flowers were sterling and white roses.  

This is one of my favorite photos because it conveys the feeling of the day for me...dreamy, romantic, and a fairytale come to life!

Our reception was held at Rarity Bay Country Club (about a 15 minute drive from the church).  It was beautiful!  We had dancing under the stars, little white twinkling lights, & awesome food!

My Mother-in-Law made our cake...3 tiers with purple and white icing roses and my crystal Cinderella coach as the topper.

My parents helped Sam & I create the most beautiful wedding & we hold this special day in our hearts forever!  All our loved ones joined us as we pledged our hearts and lives to each other for eternity!  

So, here we are in all our youthful glory when we first met at the University of TN (we were both 18).  We dated for all 4 years of college.

Here we are after 4 years of dating and 11 years of marriage (that's 15 years ago...wow)!
