Toddler Tuesday {Creative Nursery}

I love it when you find a picture of a room in a book or magazine that you LOVE, but use your creative resources to create it at a fraction of the price!  Why pay those steep prices for bedding and accessories when you can have fun making your own?  Take a look at how Jen from Scissors and Spatulas created a sweet and chic nursery for her baby boy while staying on a budget!

Here is her inspiration photo.
All the bedding & drapery was from Carousel, but came with a hefty price tag.  Jen was determined to have this nursery, so she did it herself.

She found the fabric on ebay.

And, then she made her curtains.

She bought the bumper & bedskirt from Carousel & made all the coordinating pillows.

She bought the mobile from ebay also, but redesigned it.

The diaper stacker and blanket came with the bedding set.  Jen covered a lamp and made a mirror from an old window.

Such a sweet and serene nursery for a precious baby boy!
Hint: {It would work for a girl too!}
