Tacky Christmas Party

Have you ever planned a tacky party?  Well, last night was my very first time attending & planning one & it was so much fun!  My two party partners, Jenny & Heather, and I began a couple of months ago planning a Tacky Christmas Party for our friends.

On the invite, guests were instructed to wear a tacky Christmas sweater & bring a tacky gift for exchange.  Here's the invite.

It was SO much FuN shopping for our party because we would find ourselves saying, "Does that really match, wait, it's TACKY...let's get it!"  We found most of our party supplies at the Dollar Tree making this a very inexpensive party to throw.

I had made some Christmas clipart that is sparkly, so I thought it would be good for our party supplies (cupcake toppers, napkin rings, and tent fancy labels).  As a last minute Christmas gift to my wonderful readers, I would like to offer this mini TWINKLING LIGHTS package to you for a FREE download!  All I ask is that you are or become a follower of my blog before you download.

So, here's the rest of the pictures from our Tacky Party...hope you enjoy!

THE TACKY PARTY GUESTS

Jennifer (my co-host) & Stephen (they graciously offered their house for the party)

Matt & Heather (my other co-host)

Paul & Summer

Scott & Megan

Sam & me

Jeff & Zabrina

We had a cupcake decorating contest; the only trick was one person could look, but not touch to give directions to his/her partner who could touch, but not look...very challenging & very fun!

Look at that concentration! :)

We gave out 2 Tacky Awards & these were the finalists!
