Easter Creations

Well, I finally finished decorating my house for Easter. I am in the midst of planning my son's 2nd birthday party. His birthday happens to fall on Easter this year, so we are having two parties (one for family on Easter and one for friends on Sat.) which means I am in stress overload! Check back soon for party pics!

To add to my normal spring decor, I made two new creations this year. For my dining room centerpiece, I shopped in my backyard! I found two sticks with good branches and spray-painted them white. Then, I filled a hurricane glass vase with glass stones and pastel plastic eggs to anchor my branches. Then, I put in the branches and hung my glass eggs from the branches. I love how it turned out! {My husband was worried about what I had cut down when I told him I had "shopped in the backyard"} :)

my entry table:
{I used one of the cupcake toppers from my "Hippity Hoppity" party pack to put in my hobnail vase with a little easter grass.}

the top of my media cabinet; the empty side is awaiting spring flowers from my yard!

part of my mantle; I used my glass candle sticks, put easter grass inside and topped it with my Dollar Tree glitter eggs. Then, I tied cute ribbon around the outside.

my 2nd creation - my easter wreath
I took a Dollar Tree wreath form, wrapped it with a turquoise feather boa, and then hot-glued mini plastic eggs, and tied fun ribbon for accent!

I'm so glad my home is now Easter-ized and so very Spring-y!
I hope you enjoyed the Easter tour!
